Vinod Sharma

Born in 1952 Vinod Sharma embarked on his educational pursuit at the Delhi College of Arts, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 1976. Further enriching his artistic repertoire, he pursued a Master’s degree from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 1978. Sharma’s creative vision finds its roots in the landscape, serving as his wellspring of inspiration. Immersing himself in these terrains, he absorbs their essence to later translate them onto canvas. Employing subtle shades of thin oils, he aims to recreate landscapes with an innate sense of tranquility. His art becomes a conduit, allowing viewers to traverse the seemingly unattainable distances of the natural world. The colors he employs bestow an aura of serenity and bliss upon his paintings, inviting observers into a realm of peaceful contemplation.
