T.V. Santhosh

Hailing from Kerala, T.V. Santhosh was born in 1968, embarking on an artistic odyssey that resonates with contemporary realities. Graduating with a specialization in sculpture from Kalabhavan, Santiniketan, in 1994, he further honed his craft at the Faculty of Fine Arts in M.S. University, Baroda, achieving his Master’s degree in 1997.Drawing profound inspiration from cinema, news media, art history, and popular culture, Santhosh’s artistic universe orbits around the exploration of present-day crises. With an astute eye, he harnesses images from print media, television, and the vast expanse of the internet, translating them onto canvases that possess an eerie realism rich with layered meanings. These canvases stand as poignant statements, reflecting and dissecting the socio-political fabric of contemporary India
