Sakti Burman, a contemporary painter, lithographer, and sculptor, weaves romanticism and fantasy into his creations. Born in Kolkata (1935), Burman studied at the Government College of Arts and Crafts before refining his craft at École Nationale des Beaux Arts, Paris. Based in France for five decades, he maintains strong ties to India, crafting his masterpieces in Paris and Delhi.
