Paresh Maity

Paresh Maity (born 1965, Tamluk, West Bengal) is a distinguished Indian painter renowned for his vibrant depictions of landscapes and cityscapes. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata, and a Master of Fine Arts from the College of Art, New Delhi. Maity's extensive body of work encompasses paintings, sculptures, and installations, often characterized by bold colors and dynamic compositions. In recognition of his contributions to art, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2014.
