Mona Rai

Mona Rai (b. 1947, Delhi) is an Indian abstract artist renowned for her textured, square-format paintings. Holding a Master's in Psychology from Delhi University, she furthered her artistic studies at Triveni Kala Sangam. Rai's work incorporates diverse materials such as metallic leaves, fabrics, glitter, sand, gravel, dirt, and ash, drawing inspiration from nature and technological themes. Her art has been showcased in key galleries and museums, including Nature Morte in New Delhi.
