Maria Cheung

Maria Cheung, a naturalized Brazilian of Chinese origin, discovered the art of pottery during her Art Education studies in 1978. Her artistic repertoire shines with a focus on cultural preservation through conceptual art installations. Throughout her career, Maria has garnered multiple awards in art salons and showcased her work extensively, both nationally and internationally. Since 1995, she has made Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, her home and workplace, maintaining a ceramic studio where she navigates between exhibitions, serving as a jury in art salons, and engaging in continuous artistic production.
