Gao Meng

Gao Meng, born in 1959 in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, is a Chinese sculptor renowned for his contributions to contemporary sculpture. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Beijing in 1982 and earned his master's degree from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1999. Since 2001, Gao has served as an associate professor at the Guangzhou Academy, and in 2012, he completed his Ph.D. at the Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. His works are characterized by a blend of traditional Chinese aesthetics and modern artistic expressions.
