Batu

Batu, born in the Republic of Georgia in 1960, holds a graduate degree in sculpture from the Academy in Moscow. Over the past decade, he has garnered acclaim by triumphing in numerous sculpture competitions worldwide. His artistic footprint extends across sculpture exhibits and symposiums held in an array of countries including the USA, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Austria, Netherlands, China, Greece, India, Russia, and his homeland, Georgia. His remarkable sculptures find homes in museums, private collections, and permanent outdoor displays in several countries, including the United States, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, India, and Georgia. Residing in Boston, Massachusetts, alongside his wife and two children, Batu serves as the chairman of the sculpture department and leads the graduate sculpture program at Boston University. Additionally, he contributes as a member of the Board of Directors of Contemporary Arts International. His artistry reverberates globally, leaving an indelible mark on the world of sculpture.
