Arpana Caur

Arpana Caur (b. 1954, Delhi) is a self-taught painter known for depicting women's experiences, social issues, and environmental concerns. Her work features symbolic elements like clothing and is part of global collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and NGMA, New Delhi. She has received numerous accolades, including the VI Triennale Gold Medal. Beyond art, she supports social causes like leprosy care and environmental conservation.
