Anwar Khan

Anwar Khan, born in 1964 in Ambha, Madhya Pradesh, is a distinguished Indian abstract artist. He earned a National Diploma in Fine Arts from Gwalior in 1985. Khan's work is characterized by layered pastel hues and calligraphic dry pastel markings, often incorporating woven or painted materials to create textured, lyrical pieces. His art has been showcased in numerous solo exhibitions globally, and he has received accolades such as the National Award from the Lalit Kala Akademi in 1995. Khan currently resides and works in Delhi.
