Anupam Sud
Anupam Sud (b. 1944, Hoshiarpur, Punjab) is a renowned Indian printmaker, specializing in intaglio techniques. She studied at the College of Art, New Delhi, and later at the Slade School of Fine Art, London. A member of "Group 8," she played a key role in promoting printmaking in India. Her work, often introspective, explores themes of identity and sexuality. Sud's art has been exhibited worldwide and is part of prestigious collections, earning her numerous accolades, including the Lalit Kala Akademi Award and the President's Gold Medal.
